Audubon County Farms Hi Ames area customers: Several changes this month!! On Tuesday, May 13th, I will be at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1015 North Hyland, south parking lot, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The church downtown is going to have some remodeling done and we have to move for about 6 weeks. Hopefully we will move back to UCC in July. Due
to our increased costs of production and transportation, prices on some of our
products have gone
up.
The first batch of spring chickens is
ready. Orders are always welcome, but this month I will need the orders by
noon on Friday, May 9th. The Des Moines Downtown Farmers Market starts
Saturday, May 10th. Chickens that have not been ordered by noon on Friday will
be taken to Des Moines on Saturday for sale at that market. When
ordering chickens, please let me know the approximate size and whether you
want them whole or cut-up.
We have plenty
of bacon, mini-hams, 1/4# pork patties, spare ribs,
pork chops, boneless shoulder
roasts, boneless loin roasts, ground pork, sausages,
cutlets, summer sausage, and
other pork cuts. Please let me know by Friday noon if you would like to order
any of our pork products, or honey.
Need a gift idea? How about our honey, candles or a
gift certificate available in any $ amount.
Cured
ham hocks and pork soup bones
are still available this
month. The cured
ham hocks come 1 per pkg. and each one weighs about 2 to 3 pounds and sell for $
1.75
per pound. The soup bones come in packages that weigh about 2 pounds and sell
for $ 1.50 per pound. Thanks, and hope to see
you on Tuesday, May 13th.
